Jarmon Medical LLC dba Legends Orthopedics Announces FDA Clearance of its Legends Orthopedics Suture Anchors
LEXINGTON, KY – September 28, 2023 – Jarmon Medical LLC, a privately held orthopedic device manufacturer based in Lexington, KY, announced it has received clearance from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to begin marketing its suture anchors used primarily for soft tissue repairs. The CEO Jeremy Jarmon, a recognized name in Kentucky sports and media, joins the Commonwealth’s expanding manufacturing industry to provide hospitals, surgery centers, and clinicians with new research, development, and commercialization opportunities. The company anticipates it will launch sales activities in Kentucky by April 2024.

Jarmon is a former ALL-SEC defensive who retired from the NFL after complication from a 5th orthopedic procedure. He is an orthopedic nurse, sports media personality, and accomplished medical device professional now transitioning into an executive role as CEO. Jarmon has a proven track record for achieving positive business results through development of strategic clinician alliances, identification of gaps in hospital product offerings, and execution of business plans.
